If there is anything better to receive on christmas than a music cd, then please tell me what it is. I can remember as a child I received a record of Stevie Wonder and I was in absolute bliss. I listened to that damn thing every day. Music cd after music cd has been passing through my collection since that time and nothing has replaced the joy that was passed through the vinyl of that motown christmas gift. Maybe tickets to a show could equal the lively thrill of a music cd, but that's something that requires advance planning and getting in touch with the box office to actually claim the tickets. If I were to plan a trip to the theater, I would probably look up the show times in the theater section of the paper, then check on the weather forecast and make sure that my gas tank was full because that's just the sort of anal activity that I'm famous for. continued... of my surround sound system with my favorite music cd. Who knows which music cd I would choose tonight if I were put on the spot to do so. Favorites go in trends, and right now my trend is toward some blues favorites such as Robert Johnson. Who knows what music I'll be overplaying next week - that's the beauty of the unexpected. It will just pop up. The drawer will open and out will come my new favorite music CD. When music is the only thing to brighten your spirit, you have to give it a chance. Sit back, let the sound take you over. The CD that I put in on a weekend afternoon is like the soundtrack for my week. A good music cd is a wave of inspiration.
Typhoon Ferri News from May 2002music cdTyphoon Ferri continues to bang out music for a new CD. Tentatively scheduled for an early 2003 release, the 12 song CD is beginning to take shape. Tracks include a new version of "Infamous", "T Montgom Overture", "Legacy of Fear" and several newer groovier tracks.
