An unsigned funk band named Hoochie Mama Boot Camp played yesterday with Boston rock band Typhoon Ferri. Typhoon Ferri showed their superior musical abilities, showing the Mamas up as just another unoriginal unsigned band. The best part of the show was when the Mamas singer got her ass autographed, saying she wouldn't be the leader of an unsigned band for the rest of the night. The

By the end of the night, the record labels had heard so much good Typhoon Ferri that this local Boston band is no longer an unsigned band. And, no, none of them got ass signatures.
Typhoon Ferri News from April 2006unsigned bandRecently, a member of the Exeter/West Greenwich teaching community, Neari Joan King passed away from complications from Alzheimer's. Her family needs help in paying her medical bills. Other patients need help for a cure. Typhoon Ferri is taking part in a benefit to raise money for this slow and cripling disease. Please join us on Friday, May 12 2006 at the Elks Lodge Nooseneck Hill Road, in West Greenwich, RI. The night starts at 6:30 with cocktails then on to a pasta and meatball dinner at 7pm. We will begin performing after 8:00pm. Donations are $25 for Dinner/entertainment.
