An unsigned funk band named Hoochie Mama Boot Camp played yesterday with Boston rock band Typhoon Ferri. Typhoon Ferri showed their superior musical abilities, showing the Mamas up as just another unoriginal unsigned band. The best part of the show was when the Mamas singer got her ass autographed, saying she wouldn't be the leader of an unsigned band for the rest of the night. The

By the end of the night, the record labels had heard so much good Typhoon Ferri that this local Boston band is no longer an unsigned band. And, no, none of them got ass signatures.

We, Typhoon Ferri want to thank all of those who danced, shook, bought CDs, told a friend, added us on MySpace, gave a darn, uttered our name, booked us a show, party and/or wedding. 2006 was a nice year. We played new venues, began new songs. In early 207 we will be releasing a new EP.
