The band club boston'>boston is one of my favorite bands ever. I'm big into seventies rock and lively rock ballads and those guys pumped out some incredible tunes. Boston has always embraced their rock and roll bands. Boston bands of national fame include Aerosmith, The Cars, Boston (the band), Letters To Cleo, The Mighty Bosstones, Godsmack, Guster and many more including the LEGENDARY New Kids on The Block - hell yeah. Where, you might ask, did these bands get their start? Nowadays, the Boston music scene is a strange thing because there are a large number of bands and it is rare that one band rises to the top. The scene is extremely healthy, but local concert goers will tell you that there are a lot of options for bands to support. One of the biggest boston band staples in the Boston music scene disappeared off the map in the mid 90's when the Rathskeller closed it's doors. The area where the rathskeller once existed is now occupied by a fancy hotel in kenmore square. The former boston band mecca was far from fancy. In fact, in it's later years, it was known for leather jackets, spiked bracelets, and headbanging. What a beautiful place it was. continued... title='music cd'>music heard. Another club that sadly shut it's doors is Mama Kin. At one time, this club was owned by Aerosmith and was a great room to catch a live band. They would pack-in 4 bands in a club boston'>night and the atmosphere was very rocknroll. The carpets were pretty dirty, but the room itself had a nice atmosphere, a red glow that seemed to complement the on-stage art very well. Boston bands were sad to learn that the place was closing it's doors in 1999. The space is now occupied by some metrosexual martini bar and gets an occasional visit from a Manny Ramirez homerun ball. Regardless of your boston band hangout, you can be sure that the city is buzzing with quality music acts. Quality club boston'>boston bands have been doing their thing for years and the city is recognized around the world for being a source for quality artistic work.
