Rock Bands have had a pretty good track record with charity over the years. I can remember going to a concert at great woods when it first opened, and the lineup included Neil Young and Bob Dylan. Rock bands do quality work for people in need. Everybody remembers Live Aid. Many of my peers think of this as a chance to make fun of pop stars singing "We Are The World" but it's important to remember that these rock stars raised millions of dollars for band charities.
Typhoon Ferri News from May 2004rock bandWe learned today that a good friend of ours passed on April 12. This is very sad news for us. Stephen Womack was a man who always had a smile, a genuine smile. He was very supportive of us. Stephen was the bar manager at the Blackhorse Tavern in Fanueil Hall Boston. Always recognizable with his poytail and Southern accent, Stephen was one of the most likeable persons we have been blessed to have met. He also poured a mean frosty Coors Light and even had the courage to put Typhoon Ferri stickers on expensive restaurant equipment. We will always remember him for his kindness and support andTyphoon Ferri News from July 2006See you in Newport on Wednesday August 16th...In the mean time we have some cool happenings going on until, but best keep them close (Congrats guys. btw!!!). ......
