boy band
In my years as a music reviewer, i saw a lot of crossover music. Musical styles that fall into two different genres. One thing that I can say for certain is that Typhoon Ferri is not a boy band. They are, in fact, a band, and they are in fact comprised of three boys, but this is not a boy band in the typical sense of the word "boy band." Ok, without the coreography, and the highlights in the hair, you might be thinking. What fun can this band be? If they don't prance around on stage like a boy band, why would my curious teenager be interested in their CD or the live show? Is it free mp3 music or something? The answer is: fun music. The band has a strong danceable backbone to all of their songs. The boys in TF give an upbeat foot tapping...

continued... hand clapping sound to the listener, and frankly it's more exciting than any spin or tuck move that a boy band boy dude might throw out there. Of course, every young person wants to put the poster of their favorite boy band artist on the wall of their room with annoying colors on each wall. This band of boys won't disappoint in the photo department. It's not the band's main goal, but you can tell from the photo section of this site that a poster wouldn't crack the mirror on the other side of your room. Conclusion: Typhoon Ferri is not a boy band. They walk like boys, and sound like a band, but they sure aint no boy band. If it's good fun that you're interested in, they won't disappoint.
