A month after the release of their second CD, Typhoon Ferri got an
album review from an unknown music critic writing under the name
Thelonius Monk.
True to his namesake, the writer paid special attention to the
drummer's jazz roots in his album review.
This album review circulated nationally in the mostly highly
syndicated music publications for three months until the real writer
was finally found.

Not wanting to take the buzz of his newly signed rock music contract,
AJ smiled and still keeps the card in his wallet – you never know when
a funky rock band might need another album review.
